Silence.
Darkness.
Warmth.
As my hand gently pets that sweet spot of skin at the cup of your hip,
resting in the hollow, soothing, slowing sweeps.
Silence.
Darkness.
Warmth.
As our breath evens out in the soft melody of contented sleep.
Silence.
Darkness.
Warmth.
As we dream.

in progress
Spin further and deeper, the cold depths of the dark
Tangles of slime feel sweeter, like silk ropes without marks
Seaweed drowning flowers
Overwhelmed
Lungs bursting with pressure,
a heady struggle for breath.
The twinkling light in your vision
a precursor to death.
Your arms open slowly
embracing that fate,
the beauty of knowing
life is no longer at the stake.
Begone winding rivers.
Goodbye sweet poppy fields.
Adios my dear lovers.
My retreat finally real.
This death holds no sorrow
just the absence of light.
You won't see me tomorrow
but I promise I'll write.
Send your blessings and tissues
well wishings aflight.
Let the wan moon console you
as I kiss that dark knight.
Tentacles stretch before me,
around me and through.
It is time for my story
to end. 'm done with you.
a heady struggle for breath.
The twinkling light in your vision
a precursor to death.
Your arms open slowly
embracing that fate,
the beauty of knowing
life is no longer at the stake.
Begone winding rivers.
Goodbye sweet poppy fields.

Mermaid
She used to lull me so softly each night into sleep,
the crash and caw of a heavenly life at the beach.
Her sand filled with miniature wonders to reach
overflowing my treasure box, I was simple... at peace.
As my hair grew long, tangles echoed my brain
no longer the young laughing mermaid, I was shamed
by lusty urges so dark, twisted, kinky and deep
like the seawater's home to kraken and monsters without feet!
Medusa emerges, vicious strikes from my head
as I tremble with unspoken desires... paired with dread.
Will this deep dark ocean of life eat me whole
or will this sailor prevail? Toward the lighthouse we row!
Ouch

He stabs me, over and over again.
I long for his touch
Alone at his side.
I beg for his kiss
but his lips, he does hide.
My heart aches a bit
While beside him I sit
His face a blank mask
to the favor I ask.
Why must I beg sweetly
When you'll only say no.
Why must I wait calmly
When you never come home.
Why must I ach dully
From the cold in my bed.
And hold back the tears
When you shake your fair head.
What is it you need
to start a fire inside you
to echo the burning need
deep down inside me.
I ask and I preen and I question and still
You give me no answers
Just a No
and Be still.
You are not disturbed
for its not your heart that aches
You don't undertand
the shards as my heart breaks
Why don't you see me
as a blushing young bride
Why don't you want me
playful and quick at your side
Where is your passion
for all things of the flesh
Why don't you want me darling
What else do I have left
but tears and misgivings
as you brush me aside
and I dare not push you
harsh words will not abide
I sit here in sorrow
and debate your true worth
if a freind all I look for
or more than your hearth
Do I need a true life mate
to love me and bring
sweet kisses to my mouth
and not tears that sting
as I hold them inside me
and struggle not to hurt
Oh, God! Please guide me
through this mire of worth.
Do I mean nothing to him.
Does my skin not arouse?
Does my smile do nothing for him.
Does he mentally carouse?
The doubts overwhelm me
with the ache in my heart.
I sit beside him in longing
I've made my request.
Let's go to bed my darling
No, not to sleep.
His silence is my answer
Internally I weep.
Adrift sitting beside him
Blue paints my mind
My skin aches to touch him
As past fucks come to mind.
Why doesn't he want me?!
What is wrong with me now?
I ask how to entice him.
His answers with, "Not now."
I struggle with the betrayal
And lay me head in his lap.
Curled up like a puppy
And feeling beaten at that.
He arm rest along me
And a strange feeling flows
I'm ok with this touching
It sooths me just a bit.
My core still desires him
But this touch will do, for now.
He still has hurt me
And will continue the torture.
And I will retreat to my stories
And fantasize about perfect lovers
That he will never live up to
And I will never expect
But deep down inside me
I just wish he would respect.
How hard it is for me to ask him
A quiet begging for touch.
When my pride is so large
and his is the only one for whom I lust.

Nostalgic
Steam tinted glass disperses early morning prying eyes.
How many years has it been since we've been parked on the side?

Longing for his kiss
stings more with this distance.
Right here but drifting far
makes asking so much hard
errrrr.
Doubt creeps along inside
my thoughts, dark and snide.
Fear stalls my toungue and hands
mear inches from the man,
holding my heart aloft.
Oh please, oh please, be soft
to the tender beating muscle.
Internally I struggle...
Where is the sweet young lover
who frolicked under our covers?
Where is the witty man
to whom I gave my hand?
Where is the playful boy
that loves to steal my toys?
Where is my soul mate?
And is it... is it too late?
stings more with this distance.

Morning mists
unveil the light
Her quiet time
awakes her mind
inciting lust
for sleeping knights
invade their lair
abscond the sheets
reveal the meat
take just a taste
a lick to wake
the dragon's mate
a startled hiss
precludes the heat
of burning breath
and silken depths
she rides the waves
of dragon fire
her treasure plundered
and all the while
the sour smell of dragon's breath
precludes the mint of morning's death
I woke him this morning with a cockkiss enticing him to indulge in the carnal equivalent of coffee. We both held our breath in courtesy to the other in an attempt to avoid our mutual morning/dragon breath.

I struggle
for my footing.
Reprimands
frequently surprise me.
Chastise me.
For what?
You say, "Ask."
I do.
Reprimanded once again.
I do not submit lightly
nor easily.
Yet you demand it
without giving knowledge in return.
You show me your world
But refuse to allow me in.
I am a shadow in the corner.
Glance past me.
Clean my cobwebs
but never illuminate my inner crevices.
Has my life been so charmed
that this struggle is the nature of the outsider?
A foreign experience
to the sliver spoon.
Or has it simply been
a strength of character
that allows me to turn away
from those who shun me?
Not today. I yearn to know this world that feels like a missing part of my soul.
Demands.
Grovel for acceptance.
Shed the layers you disapprove of.
I think not.
I refuse to submit.
And therefore must wander this path alone,
the blind leading the sightless.
Where shall we go?
I have been assured there is pain ahead.
Just as the pain echoes behind
in my cavern of ignorance.
We wander
together
alone
one wanting
one following
Who will show us the bloody light?
Who will bind us in erotic delight?
Who will guide us through mental chains so tight?
I do not know.
And I weep.
I will not submit
Not to the weak of mind.
But to the strong of heart.
Where are you?
Who are you?
Are you?

Stretch, shuffle.
Twitch, twist.
Fidget, fumble.
Click, Click.
Sigh. Snap.
I shut my laptop,
Pause the race,
Calm my thoughts.
I lower
My face,
My guards and my will.
I melt,
And close my eyes...
Becoming his pet.
A kitten, curled loose.
No purr required.
Such peace I find
Prone at his side,
Cheek warm and quiet against his thigh.
His eyes focus above me
On things of no import.
His fingers dance beside me,
A teasing sort of sport.
I catch those playful digits
like a nip-laced kitty toy.
His quiet laugh rewards me
and my pleasure overcomes
Any thoughts of powerful women,
Objectification or mere strife.
I know only the love he shows
to me, his pet and wife.

We dance without touching.
He cooks and I clean.
We smile through dinner.
A cozy home scene.
He kisses my cheek
In a jovial goodbye.
I sigh in relief
As he pulls out the drive.
I prepare my body,
My mind, and my space
With sweet scented candles
And chilled wine by my place.
A flick of the lights
Soothes the chaos inside
As I settle my macbook
Comfortably alongside
The refreshing white riesling
In the peace of the dark
On the couch in the silence
On a story, I embark!
These men, they whisper
They shout, and they moan.
Telling stories of love,
Laughter, heartache and home.
Love comes in all shapes
And all size and some
Even love in the strangest of ways,
Simply coming undone.
But no matter the conception
The manifest is the same.
Love pours from their hearts
To bathe their lover, no game.
He cooks and I clean.
We smile through dinner.
A cozy home scene.
He kisses my cheek
In a jovial goodbye.
I sigh in relief
As he pulls out the drive.

She stirs,
A whisper of mischief in my chest.
Tilting hips and sparkling eyes,
All men are a possibility.
A challenge, in fact,
An exhilarating game.
A sleek black Mustang glides by.
She knows the man inside.
Hurrah! The chase is on.
Gravel skitters, a cold motor revs.
Power flows into 4 small cylinders.
No match for the Mustang,
But all the more fun for the trying.
Pedal-less shifting accompanies
A beautiful growl.
More like the roar of a kitten
compared to the power
Of the Mustang cum panther ahead
But the flex of tiny kitten claws
Delights her playful side.
She stirs.
A whisper of mischief in my breast.
He turns away.
Sleek matte black lines fade.
And her attention turns
To all the possibilities.
And the bass beat pounds
Sounding vaguely like a purr.
Lips mimicking the words
She stirs.
Today will be a good day.

Joy Reflected
Things that make me happy.
Things that remind me I am loved.
The beauty in the world, that I sometimes ignore.
The evidence of God's grace.
